May. 6th, 2015 10:16 amI just wanted to say thank you. For making certain that people had help if they needed it. Because it is hard enough dealing with difficult happenings in the world, and although school is supposed to prepare us for the world, it does not seem the best use of our Hogwarts years to add difficulties on top of what is already there. So thank you for not adding difficulties and for trying to take some of the unnecessary ones away.
Do you have plans for after leaving? I mean, do you know what you will be supposed to do? I imagine you'll be doing many interesting and exciting things. My own plans are to do as well as I possibly can at working for the Strettons, since they are willing to pay for permits and things, and I have room and board there so that's handled then. It is not easy for a halfblood to find a position so I feel very lucky. And it is not so bad because Mrs Stretton yells less these days. Usually because she is so busy filling out paperwork.
I think there is really a future for me there. Because Jeremy does not seem to want to leave his current position to be active in the day to day running of Stretton Farms. And he is nicer to me than he was. Possibly because he is working hard at the Ministry. He always looks tired lately and maybe that is why he is nicer. Because it is too much work to be unpleasant. I don't know but it is certainly convenient whatever it is.
Anywiz, thank you for your help. And for talking to me. You know, when things were very difficult. Because it helped.
Oh, and I am going to send for a bunch of jam to celebrate after NEWTS. I am certain that a party in the Hufflepuff common room can be arranged. For everybody, I mean. Not just Puffs. I am thinking a jam and toast party in the evening. The firsties will love it, too.
P.S. If there is ever an opportunity could you please say something that makes it clear to Ernie that we are just friends? You and I, I mean. Because I think sometimes he might worry. And that is just silly. But boys are just silly sometimes. I mean

Only then he wrote this long parchment full of rules for Jessica to keep her safe whenever she leaves school grounds.
One of them is if she ever hears people singing “tow row row” in the streets, she is to get home by any means possible, or else if she cannot, she should hide. Because the Watch is singing that now, when they go smashing things up. Especially halfblood things.
So now I am worried that I should tell all of the other halfbloods at school. Because they should know.

Mar. 19th, 2015 09:47 pmI do not know what to think right now. Finch-Fletchley came and gave me some friendly advice. He said that's what it was. Anyhow he warned me that there is a catch to the lesson Professor Desai gave us, and that I should read the footnotes very carefully. And if I need help I should ask him. Because otherwise I will turn all scaly blue.
At first I thought he was trying to make me mess it up somehow, because I am not certain he is a trustworthy person. But I looked at the footnotes and there is actually something there. So now I do not know what to think.
What do you think? Was he just being nice? Or was he being nice for something? And if so, what?

And probably it is mostly not a Divination thing, but part of it might be. And she said you might be a good person to talk to. So could we meet? Because I could write it all down but it would just be so much easier to tell you. And then if there is something Divinatory about it maybe you can tell, and that might help the dreams stop, along with certain other things I am doing that Sally-Anne talked with me about.

One of the younger 'Puffs just wrote that Creatures isn't going so well today because they were supposed to look at the baby bowtruckles, well not babies any more, that's the point, but they're supposed to do sketches. Only they're all hiding. The bowtruckles, I mean. So maybe it is the weather.
